ourselves and our families is a healthy, happy, nourished
NERVOUS SYSTEM! :D
This one thing can reduce inflammation (brain inflammation can be a hidden cause of SO many emotional/behavioral/trigger issues), improve our ability to authentically engage & connect, unleash creativity & problem-solving, and make harmony & teamwork feel natural & easy.
When our nervous system is healthy, we trigger less & bounce back faster when we do, we feel clear-headed, have an optimal production of feel-good hormones to keep us in the game when its challenging, and our bandwidth/capacity for taking things on and transcending challenges expands naturally!
Yoga can "tone" the nervous system when practiced with knowledge and intention! And I cannot wait to show you how! :D

Connection:
Discover the sociological "dance" we are in with our children that we can use to create a deep, strong connection throughout life.
Healing:
Understand how your own life experiences may be creating results in your nervous system that do not serve your vision for your life or family, and how to clear & re-write that "story."
Confidence:
Lead with a mindset that doesn't respond to fear, but moves from a place of certainty and power. This allows the nervous system to release, as we can feel we trust ourselves, and that all is well.
Resilience:
Fall in love with problem-solving and create a fail-fast approach that produces positive expansion of your bandwidth vs burnout or frustration.
What will be covered in the in the mini-retreat?
Beginner-accessible Warm-up Yoga Sesh & Breathing Techniques
- 15 Min Greeting & Intro
- 30 Min Beginner-Accessible Yoga Practice
- 5 Min of Breath-work
- 10 Min Meditation
This work will be framed in such a way for parents to understand how to use the experience and its tools to embody a resilience of their nervous system so they can parent from a powerful, loving, grounded place.
Inner healing & deep connection work via partner interactions & journaling
- Explore (via a written reflection exercise) the Sociological foundations within ourselves that are currently driving how we parent & connect as parents.
- Enriching partner work that allows us to experience ourselves & increase our capacity to perceive how we show up.
- Journal prompt to process these experiences.
How to use yoga to engage with & connect to your children
- Explore fun yoga poses your kids will love.
- Learn connection practices we can facilitate through yoga w/ our kids.
- Aquire tools to empower your child's nervous system to regulate optimally.
- Voxer app group messaging (optional) to access Nicki & peers for 2 weeks post workshop to ask Qs and get feedback on your progress.

Nicki's Business for Yoga Parents Mini-Retreat is open to no more than 16 parents. This allows for deep connection, mentorship, & digestion of the material.

Nicki began her study of yoga philosophies at age 13, and became a yoga teacher in 2009. She has facilitated 14 Yoga Teacher Training programs, and was a yoga studio owner for over a decade.
She also has a background in education and the sociology of education & childhood development and its impact into adulthood.
Nicki began coaching Conscious Parenting methods & Intuitive Schooling methods in 2020.
She has one 7yr old daughter, and deeply enjoys sharing her yoga knowledge with parents in a way that allows them to more powerfully connect with and impact their children.
Nicki and her daughter both have ADD brains! She has extensive knowledge in the natural management of ADD (having a decade of training in natural health) and maximizing the benefits of the ADD brain.
